Pulling in Missing Donations into eKyros

There may be an occasion when you notice that a donation has not been integrated from CDM+ to eKyros. Common reason why you are not seeing a donation in eKryos include:

  • It has not been settled yet. Only settled transactions will flow from CDM+ to eKyros.

  • The donation is in the Process Pending Donation queue. Process Pending Donations is a way for you to manage one-time guest donations. It helps to prevent duplicate records from being created in CDM+. If you are utilizing this feature, you must process these donations, Process Pending Donations, in order for this transaction to flow into eKyros. If you have pulled transactions into eKyros before processing these donations, you may have a missing donation.

  • A repair needed to be made to your data. Rarely there will be a case where we do not get all of the needed information from our payment process, Paragon, about a donation. When this happens, our team will need to run a repair on your account. If you have pulled donations into eKyros before the repair was completed you may have a missing transaction.

If one of these situations occurrs, you can back-date your CDM+ import to capture any missing donations. Because eKyros "tags" donations that have already been imported, only donations that have not been imported will appear in eKyros.

eKyros only tags donations from CDM+ that have been pulled in through the integration. If you have manually entered any donations into eKyros that were in CDM+, these donations have not been tagged. You will want to carefully check the import to prevent entering in any duplicate information.

To pull in any missing online donations:

  1. In eKyros under Donors, click on Get Online Gifts.

  2. Then, click on Setup.

  3. From here, you will see CDM+ as an option, click on Edit. Then, you will be able to change the date to the deposit date of the donations that you are not seeing. Then you’ll be able to pull in these donations as normal.
